چکیده

Metal-Insulator type nano-granular magnetic (NGM) thin films have been noteworthily developed as several functional magnetic materials. The formation of nanogranular structure is strongly related to the magnitude of heat formation (H) of intergranule materials. Forming a larger H allows a clearer granular structure to be obtained. Soft magnetic properties and TMR effect of NGM films are reviewed in this article, including their applications. The HRTEM observation reveals that average distance among neighboring granules mainly controls magnetic properties in NGM films. Co-O based NGM film where granules contact each other has soft magnetism and exhibits an excellent frequencyresponse of permeability, while the film with isolated granules is superparamagnetic state and shows giant magnetostriction effect. Both large electromagnetic noise suppression and low field magnetic sensing effects are demonstrated as their applications.

Effect of Magnetic Field on Surface Morphology and Magnetic Properties of FeCu/Cu Nano layers Prepared by Electrodeposition Technique: Investigation of Magneto-hydrodynamic Effect

In this paper, the effect of magnetic field on the morphology, structure and magnetic properties of electrodeposited FeCu/Cu thin films was investigated. The films were deposited on Au2PdAg/glass substrates using electrodeposition technique in potentiostatic control. The magnetic fields of 5000 and 7000 Oe were applied on deposition bath during deposition. Two series of thin films were prepared...

HIGH-RESISTIVITY SOFT MAGNETIC THIN FILMS USING CoFe METAL/NATIVE OXIDE MULTILAYERS (INVITED)

Magnetic thin films suitable for gigahertz operation must simultaneously achieve soft properties, high saturation magnetization, and a high resistivity. The recently-introduced metal/native oxide multilayer (MNOM) composite meets these requirements. This system consists of nanogranular high-moment CoxFe100-x layers separated by ultrathin magnetic native oxide layers that isolate the metallic la...

Giant Hall effect in superparamagnetic granular films

A comprehensive review of the giant Hall effect (GHE) is presented, with emphasis on novel experimental data obtained in Ni–SiO2 and Co–SiO2 films prepared by co-sputtering. GHE is observed close to and on both sides of the metal–insulator transition. From the point of view of microscopic conduction mechanisms, this means a crossover from metallic conductivity with weak localization to tunnelin...

Defect Induced Enhanced Low Field Magnetoresistance and Photoresponse in Pr0.6Ca0.4MnO3 thin Films

We have investigated the effect of grain boundary related defects on the electronic transport properties of the colossal magnetoresistive low bandwidth manganite Pr0.6Ca0.4MnO3 (PCMO) thin films. A series of PCMO films were prepared by pulsed laser deposition method on MgO and STO substrates. Characterizations of the structural, magnetic and magneto-transport properties show that the films prep...

Fabrication and Magnetic Properties of Fe65Co35–ZnO Nano-Granular Films

A series of nano-granular films composed of magnetic metal (Fe65Co35) granules with a few nanometers in size and semiconductor oxide (ZnO) have been fabricated by a magnetron sputtering method, and excellent soft magnetic properties have been achieved in a wide metal volume fraction (x) range for as-deposited samples due to the exchange coupling between FeCo granules (a ferromagnetic interactio...
